Kaiserdom is one of Bamberg’s larger, long‑established breweries, founded in 1718 and known for producing a broad range of traditional Franconian and Bavarian beers.

Unlike Bamberg’s famous smoked‑beer houses, Kaiserdom focuses on clean, classic styles: Kellerbier with its natural cloudiness and soft malt profile, crisp Pilsener, smooth Dunkel, and a traditional Hefeweizen with the familiar banana‑clove yeast character. They also brew stronger export‑oriented lagers and alcohol‑free variants, giving them a wide international presence.
