Brouwerij Bosteels

Brouwerij Bosteels is a historic Belgian brewery with more than 200 years of family heritage, known for producing some of Belgium’s most recognisable and characterful specialty beers. Based in Buggenhout and founded in 1791, the brewery combines tradition, creativity, and meticulous craftsmanship to create beers with distinct identities and strong flavour profiles.

Their most famous creation, Tripel Karmeliet, is a refined golden tripel brewed with three grains, barley, wheat, and oats, following a 17th‑century Carmelite recipe. It’s celebrated for its silky texture, floral and citrus aromatics, and elegant balance of spice and malt. Kwak, another iconic beer, is a deep amber ale with caramel richness, subtle fruit, and a warming finish, traditionally served in its unique coachman’s glass. Deus Brut des Flandres showcases the brewery’s innovative side: a champagne‑method beer that is crisp, sparkling, and delicately complex.
